Getting There
San Elijo State Beach extends along Coast Highway 101, San Diego California. 27 miles from downtown San Diego and on the Amtrack route or Coaster. 3/4 mile north from San Elijo Lagoon’s entrance channel, near the community of Cardiff-by-the-Sea.
Exit Interstate 5 at Encinitas Boulevard, head WEST. Turn LEFT on South Coast Highway. Follow the Coast Highway south, about 2 miles.
